The decisive keyword is "headless e-commerce". This means that the backend (the administration area) and the frontend (the display that your customers see) are completely separated from each other in Shopware 6. The advantage of this approach is the extremely high connectivity to all conceivable external systems, such as marketplaces (Amazon, Ebay, Rakuten and similar), price comparison portals and external software systems such as ERP (enterprise resource planning), CRM or PIM systems. The conventional shop frontend is thus understood as only one of the many possible sales channels.
